With Special Participations of: Mr & Mrs. Ramos Ü

Airline: PAL

Straight from our Friday shift (except for Buon), and after all the long time preparations , we went straight to NAIA Centennial Terminal 2 so we won't miss our flight at 2:50pm.

After waiting for the flight announcer to stop calling and looking for the very last passenger Lorelai from the batch before us, we finally made our way inside the plane. Our adventure to Puerto Princesa has just begun. Ü

The Arrival

While we were taking pictures and getting our stuff be unloaded, there, at the back of Puerto Princesa Airport, our tour master - Kuya Albert - has been patiently waiting while holding our group's name Myrtle & Co.,

and was all ready to take us to our very first stop, (the place where we stayed, taken care of and called "home") --- the Duchess Pension.

Ms. Trish and the rest of the SeAdventure Tours group were so kind that they allowed us to just pay P4,250.00/pax ONLY - for 3nights and 3days stay. Inclusive of which were the City/island tours we selected, FREE breakfast, lunch buffet by the beach, use of the TV and WiFi, and trip to and from the airport. They were so accommodating that they even have the "Henna Guys" come over during our first night for us to get a share of their artistic works. Ü

First Dinner @ Ka Lui

Our dinner at Ka Lui was so fun and their food were so stomach-filling that we forgot how sleepy and tired we were from the travel a few hours earlier. The fun goes with the different scenes you can create while eating, checking out the 'couples' inside (I still can't get over the view of the 2 lovers I saw on the left area where I was seated. They were I dunno if Australians or Dutch, but one thing which stuck in my mind up to now, was the fact that they look good together regardless if the guy was black and the girl was so damn white - and pretty at that. hehe. I just don't know if my friends saw them too).
And also checking out the other parts of Ka Lui ( not to mention their beautiful restrooms named Babae (Woman) and Lalaki (Man-unfortunately no pic available for the guy's restroom);

and the corner from their entrance which they named - Palawanderer Outdoor Lover

- where we had our pics taken numerous times without caring about the people eating inside and even if they can see us wide open from their windows, and hear our laughters, we just don't care. Haha Ü

Day 2 - Breakfast

We don't need to have so much for an early day breakfast. These were good enough to make us last for a few hours. Besides, I think we're on a diet. hehe Ü

First Stop: Running tour to Vietnam Ville

Kuya Albert brought us first to see one of the significant places in Puerto Princesa - The VietVille. From the houses to the people walking that we saw during the trip, it really felt like we're passing through in a very small town of Vietnam. Unfortunately, since we were unable to go down due to a slight rainfall, we only managed to take pictures inside the van through the windowshield.

Running tour to Ulugan Bay - Buenavista Viewdeck

Actually, before we went to Ulugan Bay, we stopped by this area where there's a huge mountain rock behind us (much like what we saw in Sagada - the rock mountain where the hanging coffins in Echo Valley is attached.)

Mr. and Mrs. Ramos joined us on our first day trip. So it was a pleasure to include them on our photo ops ;)

Ulugan Bay - Buenavista Viewdeck

Next stop: Sabang Beach

This is where we had our first free buffet lunch by the beach. :) And this is also where I saw a perfect heart-shaped coconut just for me. Nice!

I can't remember how fast Koya cut that one. Hehe

The waves were so strong and we didn't care even if its a bit raining. We also had fun when we tried to walk (or run?) with the carabao-with-kalesa and koreans(?) riding on it. hehe Ü

Of course, we get to ride that carabao too!

Monkey/Jungle Trail

My friends saw monkeys while we're on the trail, but unfortunately, I didn't. I just felt and heard something moving in between the trees, though - while we're walking and applying Off Lotion (hehe) but I did not see an actual monkey flying from one branch to another. Ü

Underground River

Who haven't heard about the Underground River? We waited for a couple of minutes for an available boat to let us through this one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We saw different nationalities who wanted to take a peek into Puerto Princesa's pride. Each so eager to find out what's inside.

Apparently, I can only remember a few (since I continued writing this just now - Nov 6 2009). And I won't spoil the suspense of knowing what else was inside, because it's best to see them on your own. Ü

The Corn

And uhhh, yeah... The Penis

I find it hard to recognize some of the images captured due to some hazy shots. My apologies.
What made the experience inside so great, though, was the fact that all those figures were formed thru melted rocks and not man-made! Amazing :)

Second Dinner @ Badjao Seafront

Mr & Mrs Nova Ramos were still with us on our first dinner. We were like kids with parents --- hehe, kidding. Ü

The ambiance was so nice, we were like inside another era - where pieces of old stuff were found. Its a not-so-ordinary resto seated infront of the sea (hence - Seafront) ;p The meal was so good that we ordered like crazy.

I understand that since it's already an open resto, limited fans were available, but if only they placed a huge ceiling fan on each table to compromise the heat inside, I should've not felt sick and we could've stayed longer. *sigh*
