How to read a Man's Body Language

Okay, let's continue from yesterday's post shall we? Ü

Apart from knowing how to rock your first date, it's also good to know how you can see through the guy you're dating and check whether what he says coincide with his actions. And the easiest way to do that is read his body language. Ü

Scent and Seduction

I must admit. One of my greatest weakness is the scent a guy wears. I've had a chance to go out with one of the guys I greatly look up to (not that I have a crush on him or whatever, but a guy who I consider a great mentor).

I am not good in associating a certain scent to its brand, but even from afar,I can easily recognize a great smell from a good smell.Ü And you bet, I was really turned on. Not too much in a seductive way though 'coz I dont have any romantic feelings for him if that's what you're thinking - but turned on to at least start my day with a glow. Ü

An article I read in Cosmopolitan's website will justify my point. Ü

How to ask a guy out

Following my previous post, let's go ahead and check how Cosmo advised ladies on how to ask a guy out. As for me, yeah, I think I've done this at one time or another. And I can say, sometimes, it does pay to be a Cosmochick than be alone, be shy and "wait in vain" for that-gorgeous-guy-you've-been-eyeing-for-months-who-will-not-just-make-a-move to come and get you. Ü

How to totally rock a first date

Alright, I was just scanning through my 19,000++ yahoo emails without any intention of really opening them one by one. And because I really am not in the mood to check them out, I opted to move forward in reading through Cosmopolitan's website. And here is where I got the following nice topics to share with you.

How to rock a first date?
I really don't know. Hehe, not until I realized that I've been given just enough guys to date with (so far), and learned on each date how to behave (or not to behave when called for) properly hehe. ;)

But the following article from Cosmo will really help ladies out on how to act on their first dates. Check them out! :D

A visit to my Hometown

August 9, 2009
St. John Mary Vianney Parish
Antipolo City

I was supposed to visit last August 8, 2009 and watch our parish's annual concert; but because I was in super deep slumber that Saturday evening, I didn't hear my alarm clock wake me up. Ü

So to make up for it, I went to the place where I grew up and stayed for 20years the next day after. Even if I just spent a couple of hours with these people, I sure felt the same love they had before me and my family left.

Pictures taken from Tita Vangie's camera phone. Thanks for the dinner, accomodation and the drive too Tito Boyet. Really appreciate it. I miss you guys. Ü

10 Annoying Text Habits to Avoid

I was about to check my Yahoo emails when this article caught my attention. I can't keep myself from smiling or laughing everytime I remember one or two instances when I was either a victim of these type of texters or I was the one doing it. Hehehe. Read up. I know you'll be smiling too. Ü

When God says "wait"

I just got an email from Rajsh again. Good thing she shared this to me. I could have forgotten about God's Time had I not gone through this nice article. Thanks my dear. Ü

Hooray for 100!

After how many days of thinking about what I am going to write for my 100th post, I finally thought of just sharing what I have learned from the day I started creating this site until the day I was labeled a "true blogosphere citizen". Ü

I may look or sound stupid while you run through this list, but yes, I was - and I know I still have a lot to learn. Enjoy! ^_0

I learned
... how to insert a hyperlink
... how to attach an image properly without having your blog appear so cluttered
... how to "monetize" my blog (thanks boss Ü)
... how to be a "follower"
... how to keep an eye on the blogs I follow
... how to use CSS
... that there's just too many topics to write, but so little time to compose and post them
... that there are indeed good writers
... that there are "real" people who takes their time out to read what I have to say and is more than willing to share their feedbacks/reactions
... that in the course of time and after all these has been posted, I was able to make a single person - out of millions in this world, SMILE Ü

Migraine Matters II: Can Migraine Really Cause Stroke?

I suddenly had goosebumps upon reading that certain migraine symptoms might lead to stroke and a person who experiences or have experienced this should consult the doctor ASAP.

I didn't know that at an early age (20 years old when I started working after college), since I begin having those symptoms, I might have been attacked with stroke for many times now - in which, what my family and I knew was just one of the usual migraine breakout.

I can't forget those times when all I can do was pray at the back of my mind to stop the throbbing in my head and the numbness of my body. I can't even let anyone touch my head or move me from whatever position I was because it really increases the pain. All I know was that I can barely breathe, my hands and feet felt so cold, I keep on vomitting and whatever's inside my head just keeps on throbbing.

Then when I made it to the hospital, what surprised me more was the result. My CTScan shows normal, and that my doctor said my case was considered a Classical Migraine.

One thing's for sure, though, whatever name is attached to the type of migraine that I have, I don't want that to be a cause for my demise.

Migraine Matters

It was no longer a surprise for me when I received an email from our company's HR Communications about their Migraine Relief Program. Why? Well, for my colleagues and close friends, they already know that I am one of few who suffers from it. And yes, more often than not, it is the main reason why my SL (sick leaves) at work were almost consumed.

And so I am glad to know that the company I work with for 2years and 7months now, took the initiative to offer assistance or awareness for their employees on the said issue.

Yes, Migraine Matters. And I'll let the professionals speak on my behalf. Hehe Ü
The attached documents are of great help too.

Sweden's Pre-Birthday Celebration

July 25, 2009
East Ortigas Mansion
8:00pm

July 30 pa ang talagang birthday niya. But since weekends lang kami pwede magcelebrate and magkita-kita, we decided to do it sa clubhouse nila Noel last July 25.

After all three of us had just a few hours of sleep, we were surprised to find out: that the Videoke Room was already reserved (from 6pm-11pm, thanks Noel),

Noel's friends (Ryan and Serge - hope tama spelling ko ng names niyo..hehe) visited him and tagged along with us and enjoyed our company(i hope so),

and despite the bangag moments and super hintayan blues (for noel, dahil nakatulog kami lahat ng bonggang-bongga at super hintay siya from 6pm til 8 - really sorry my dear) we still had a great time!
